Hama with its Norias (giant water wheels) located on the Orontes River. The museum is housed in the Beit al-Azem (Azem Palace), the 18th century mansion. What is of importance is the mosaic trasferred from a house in a village west of Homs (Mariamin). This mosaic sheds a light on musical instruments used at that time.
